Dog Information

We charge a one-off $50 fee per dog.  Please read our rules for bringing your dog to our rainforest property:

  • Paralysis tick season has begun in our region, and therefore it is imperative you either treat your dog/s with a tick spray, drops or similar, or purchase a Killtix collar for them at least 3 days before arriving on our property.

  • Your dog is to be kept with you at all times, and not allowed to wander our property unaccompanied by you.

  • Your dog is NOT allowed into any of our lakes at any time.  He/she is more than welcome to swim in the river at the bottom of the property.

  • Please keep barking to an absolute minimum at all times.

  • You must supply your own dog bed, as he/she is not allowed on our beds or on any of our furniture.

  • Any damage incurred by your dog will be fully payable by you.

  • Your dog must never be left alone on our property while you go out.  You must take him/her with you whenever you leave the property.  Please ask us for directions to dog friendly areas and restaurants of our region.

  • You must remove all droppings made by your dog, and tidy up any mess he/she makes.

  • Your dog must not be allowed to dig on any of the lawn areas.

  • Chasing of wild life is strictly not allowed.

Dogs are not permitted in the National Park area, so don’t plan to climb Mt Warning or similar while you are here.

However, we have a wonderful leash-free dog friendly beach 20 minutes from our property.  There is also a swimming hole 5 minutes from here which you can take your dog to, and a great board walk along the Tweed River at Murwillumbah.
